We usually run this from the pullout just below the powerhouse, but decided to put in at the bridge behind Bend Country Store. This added about 3 miles to the trip and took an hour extra with all the flat water. The guage at HSB showed 1080 cfs and I don't think I would run it again unless it were closer to 1500. We drug bottom a few places - one we spent about 3 minutes pushing with our arms to get to a deep channel. But it was a fun run. There are a couple of sections that are fun to catch micro-eddies and ferry across the river.
